Tuition waiver or broader support?
A scholarship does not automatically fund a spouse or child. Use the actual award letter when planning your budget and residence-permit application.
Start with programme-specific eligibility
Funding depends on the university and programme. Do not assume that a Master’s scholarship also accepts Bachelor’s applicants.
Lund University Global Scholarship: primarily for Master’s applicants, with limited Bachelor’s exceptions. The current official page lists Development Studies, Mathematics, Physics and Physical Geography. Check the forthcoming call, fee-paying eligibility and selection criteria before applying. Funding concerns tuition; plan living costs separately.

Find the right route for your profile
A route for eligible Master’s applicants from specified countries, with professional and leadership criteria. Use the official call to check nationality, eligible programmes, work evidence, award coverage and required templates. The 2027/28 call details were not independently confirmed in this review; do not reuse a previous cycle’s deadline or funding amounts.
Official SI call and application instructions
Covers full tuition for a one- or two-year Master’s programme. Living costs are excluded. Check eligible programmes, ranking requirements and the current call.
An academic merit scholarship for eligible fee-paying applicants from outside the EU/EEA. Check the award’s tuition coverage and separate application process.
Linnaeus advertises tuition scholarships; individual awards and eligibility differ. The programme-specific IKEA and Södra Scholarship covers full tuition and helps with living costs. Check eligible programmes and the current call rather than assuming every programme qualifies.
