You need a bachelor’s degree equivalent to a Swedish kandidatexamen from an internationally recognised university. Programmes may require specific previous subjects or credits. English is a programme-specific requirement, usually English 6 / English Level 2. Check each programme description.

The general minimum is a four-year bachelor’s degree, or bachelor’s plus master’s studies totalling four years. Certain three-year honours degrees in social sciences or humanities may be considered; a three-year degree without honours is insufficient. Bangladeshi upper secondary English alone does not meet the English requirement.

For English 6 / English Level 2, IELTS Academic requires 6.5 overall, no section below 5.5. Other accepted tests and qualifying previous studies have separate conditions. Check the programme’s exact English level. A general MOI letter is not automatically sufficient.

Autumn 2027 — first international round

Provide official degree certificates, transcripts for previous higher education and evidence of English. Follow country-specific submission instructions. Submit a CV, motivation letter, references or other extras only when the programme requests them.
